Youth Speak Elections: An Open Conversation with Amit Segal and Dafna Liel
The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem hosted a special event for teenagers with political commentators Amit Segal and Dafna Liel, as part of Youth Capital, an initiative that creates opportunities for dialogue and civic engagement.
Throughout the evening, the two took part in an open and engaging conversation about Israel’s upcoming election campaign, what happens behind the scenes in the political arena, and the issues shaping the country’s public agenda.
Segal and Liel drew on their experience covering Israel’s political system, discussing decision-making processes, the forces influencing political campaigns, and the moves that could reshape the electoral landscape. The conversation also explored how political decisions affect everyday life, and teenagers in particular.
A central part of the evening was devoted to questions from the audience. Participants raised issues that matter to them, asked direct questions, and received straightforward, accessible answers in an open and respectful dialogue.
