My Brother in My Heart | Remembering, Creating, Honoring

The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem welcomed bereaved high school students participating in the third year of My Brother in My Heart. The students, who study in arts programs across Israel, are given a platform through the initiative to express their personal stories of loss through film, dance, music, theater, and design.

Through their creative work, the students give their fallen brothers and sisters a face and a name, creating space for memory, grief, hope, and growth.

The event featured an exhibition of the students’ work and a special showcase attended by bereaved families and representatives of the Ministry of Education. The program highlighted the stories and artistic creations that emerged through the initiative.

My Brother in My Heart seeks to foster intergenerational connection and shared values, honor the memory of the fallen through the eyes of their brothers and sisters, and highlight the power of art as a means of remembrance, connection, and growth.
