The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem hosted a tribute event honoring Members of Knesset and professional officials who worked tirelessly and made a significant contribution to advancing legislative amendments in support of IDF widows and orphans.

The event honored those involved in advancing the amendment to the Survivors’ Allowances Law, which ensures a full pension even after remarriage, without age restrictions or deductions, as well as Amendment 47 to the Families of Soldiers Who Fell in Battle Law, which expands financial support and recognition for IDF widows and orphans.

Among the participants were the Chairwoman of the IDF Widows and Orphans Organization, Adv. Zehava Gross Meydan; CEO Shlomi Nahumson; and the recipients of the recognition: Coalition Chair MK Ofir Katz, MK Michal Woldiger, Deputy Director General and Head of the Families, Commemoration and Heritage Division at the Ministry of Defense Arieh Moalem, and MK Gilad Kariv.
