Leading Together: Students from Gedera and Yanuh-Jat Connect at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem's Education Wing.
The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem hosted a special and moving meeting between fifth- and sixth-grade students from the Druze school “Al-Hikma” in Yanuh-Jat, led by Nadia Bibar, and the “Rimonim” Education Campus in Gedera, a Jewish state school led by Rotem Goren, on Thursday, June 18.
The meeting, initiated through the joint efforts of the two school principals, was born out of a deep aspiration to enable the younger generation to get to know one another, engage in dialogue, and learn together through direct encounters with different perspectives in a shared and inclusive educational space.
Throughout the day, the students participated in dedicated workshops run by the leadership academy, visited the various exhibitions, and took part in group dialogues focused on the values of listening, leadership, mutual responsibility, and respectful disagreement.
The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem sees this work as a cornerstone of its vision and invites principals, educators, and teaching staff to bring their students to unique educational activities that promote critical thinking, civic responsibility, and a culture of respectful disagreement.
