Memory, Testimony, and Continuity: Yom HaShoah at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem

On Yom HaShoah, we pause to remember the voices, the stories, and the lives that were cut short.
Watch a special recording from the “Point of View” event held at the Museum this past January in commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

In a meaningful and moving evening, Holocaust survivors met with survivors of the October 7 attacks. As part of the program, former hostage Alon Ohel and singer-songwriter Shlomi Shaban came together for a special musical performance.

At the heart of the event were guided conversations between participants from different generations: Chava Nissimov, a survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto, in conversation with Achia Malul, a survivor of the Nova attack; Tommy Shaham, an Auschwitz survivor, in conversation with Avital Schindler, a survivor of the terror attack in Kerem Shalom.

The event was held in partnership with the “Point of View” project by the Pink Glasses Association, and all proceeds were dedicated to supporting Holocaust survivors.
