Path to Influence: The Government Companies Authority Launches a New Leadership Program at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem
The Government Companies Authority launched its leadership program “Path to Influence” at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem this week.
The Government Companies Authority operates as a professional unit within the Ministry of Finance and serves as the government’s representative and shareholder in all government-owned companies, including oversight of privatization processes and management of structural changes within these entities.
As such, the program is intended for senior executives in government companies and is designed to develop a professional leadership pipeline, strengthen inter-organizational cooperation, and drive large-scale strategic processes within the government companies sector.
The opening session was led by CPA Roi Kahlon, General Manager of the Government Companies Authority, who presented his vision and emphasized the importance of value-based leadership at this time. The program is led by Galit Wiederman, Senior Deputy General of the Authority, and is managed by Michal Etgar and Reut Levi Ram Cohen.
Participants took part in an in-depth tour of the Museum, were introduced to its content, and visited its various exhibitions. During the tour, a discussion was held on the reflection of public leadership in Israeli reality, alongside hands-on workshops led by the Leadership Academy of the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem.
The choice to launch the program at the Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem reflects the connection between the current challenges facing Israeli society and the pursuit of excellence in architecture, programming, and management that characterizes the Museum.
The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem is proud to serve as a platform for leadership gatherings of this kind and invites additional organizations to take part in the values-based and managerial dialogue held within its walls.
