Additionally, he has been actively involved in many charitable, religious, and community causes and was Chairman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for over 20 years. Larry is a founder and former Chairman of Colorado Concern, current Chairman of the Mizel Institute, and co-founder of the Denver Rustlers. He is also active in the Navy Seal Foundation, Denver Police Foundation, Homeland Defense Foundation, JewishCOLORADO, and the Colorado State Patrol Foundation. He is the first Orthodox Rabbi in American history to deliver an invocation at a Presidential Inauguration, which took place in 2017 for President Donald Trump, and the first American to be chosen by the government of Israel to light the Torch of Remembrance of Israel\u2019s Independence Day.
